Chemical Descaling of Heat Exchanger 1 UNIT X MAC 230DR5 | June 19, 2024
We performed a comprehensive chemical descaling of a critical heat exchanger unit X MAC 230DR5. This process involved using a specially formulated chemical solution to dissolve and remove accumulated scale and mineral deposits from the heat exchanger’s internal surfaces. These deposits, often composed of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals, can significantly reduce heat transfer efficiency and, if left untreated, can lead to increased energy consumption and potential equipment failure. Throughout the process, we closely monitored pH levels and flow rates to ensure proper descaling and prevent damage to the heat exchanger. After descaling, we flushed the system with clean water to remove chemicals and debris, restoring optimal performance.
